The museum
A secret place that we discovered super by chance! Our gaze was drawn to a wooden house that impressed with its interesting veranda and beautiful wood carving. The house looked like a museum. We were impressed that this secret location would have an entire museum in its own yard...even more incredible was that the museum itself turned out to be a guest house.... For the first time in Bulgaria we saw such a thing - to live and move freely in rooms that we are used to seeing only through display cases or ropes... The house hides an intriguing history, a famous Bulgarian poet studied in it, and now it is home to this great family that wants to share the traditional way of life and culture of the Bulgarians from this region with you! It is worth visiting! And the homemade dishes they served us were so delicious that we had a hard time leaving there.
